0.0.05 (Progress 1)


Here's some progress for 0.0.05

+ Added AI (Experimental charge scout enemy)

+ Added Knockback system (Only applies to enemies at the moment)

+ Added new attack system with random attack ranges to avoid swarm clutter. Or rather make clutter.

+ Added HUD for amount of coins

+ Added 2 sound effects for looting actual coins and a sound effect for each coin added

+ Added additional sound effects: potion pickup, food crunch, scroll sound effect and a crystal jewel sound effect

+ Removed previous food items and replaced them with bread (health) apple (mana)

+ Added item "Scroll" this is for later use with a possible hub city

+ Added item "Spirit crystal" this is meant for buying spells and their respective upgrades

+ Added animation for opening chests

- Removed previous looting system

* Improved the death animation

* Improved enemy death animation

* Fixed the player's damage indicator was that of the enemy, whopsie.

* Fixed Enemy attack range being higher than the hitbox

* Fixed player vanishing if attempting to open chests while already open


As mentioned in 0.0.04 the next update should focus on the spells system, I finally pulled my butt together and just made a final design for the looting system and got it done. The new item Spirit crystal is gonna be used for all this of course.

And the scroll is intended for the above mentioned hub city. My plan is that as long as you stay in the hub world your mana will drain. (Cause of some magical barrier that locks you in the dungeon? idk man xD ) But here you'll be able to spend the coins that you acquire.

Right now my last work is going into the death animation and some depth issues and clean up the level a bit.
